From Boxes to Bikes, and Smiles to Come
What happens when a group of generous volunteers, a pile of bicycle parts, and a shared commitment to children come together? Something pretty remarkable.
Thirteen volunteers gathered at Myers Park Covenant Church to tackle the challenge of assembling twenty bicycles destined for students at Pinewood Elementary through our MOJO ministry partnership. What could have been an all-day project became an inspiring display of teamwork, dedication, and good humor. In just over an hour, twenty boxes were transformed into twenty fully assembled bicycles.
The real success of the day wasn't measured by speed, however. It was measured by the generosity of every volunteer who gave their time and talents to make this project possible. Because of their efforts, twenty children will soon experience the excitement of receiving a bicycle of their own and the freedom, adventure, and joy that comes with it.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up ready to build, serve, and make a difference. What a team! Twenty bikes are now ready for twenty happy Pinewood riders, and we couldn't be more grateful.
