MPBC has been “open to all” since 1965 and officially became a welcoming and affirming church in 2002. Myers Park Baptist Church is announcing the beginning of a search process for our seventh Senior Minister. Founded in 1943, we are more than just a place of worship—we are a vibrant community where individuals grow in their faith, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful difference beyond our campus. Since our founding we have been nationally known for our leadership in progressive issues of faith.
As we look to the future, we believe God continues to call our church toward deeper ministry, wider service, and faithful innovation. We are a people on a continuing journey of faith—open to God’s new light and new possibilities—and we seek a Senior Minister who feels called to walk this journey with us and help guide our congregation into its next chapter.
