Love in Action
Roundtable - Researching and Responding to the Needs in Our Community

Meeting on the second Monday of each month from September through May, The Roundtable brings together people who believe our faith calls us to care for one another and our broader Charlotte community.

Each month offers time for fellowship and an opportunity to learn about the needs of others. This year, we’ll hear from community representatives about needs within our schools, among survivors of sexual abuse, foster families, refugee and immigrant families, our own church community, and more.

Come connect, learn, and discover meaningful ways you are needed and can put your faith into action. Because we need one another.

Schedule

Date | Monday, November 9, 2026
Time | 10:00-11:30 am
Location | Parlor off of Heaton Hall Foyer
Theme | Foster Village: Learn how Foster Village and Executive Director Becky Santoro create a community of practical support for foster children and families.

It takes a village to support children and families navigating foster care.

Join us for our November Roundtable as we welcome Becky Santoro, Executive Director of Foster Village, an organization dedicated to surrounding foster children and families with the resources, relationships, and community support they need.

Becky will share how Foster Village is building a network of care and how community members can help make a meaningful difference for children and families experiencing foster care.

Come learn more about this important work and the power of showing up for one another.

December 14 | Christmas Gathering: Celebrate the season with a special Christmas service project and time of fellowship.
You Are Invited

Whether you’ve been a part of The Roundtable for many years or this is your first time attending, you’ll find a warm and welcoming space where your presence matters and your voice is valued. Come ready for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and the opportunity to engage with an organization doing truly transformative work.

We look forward to seeing you there and joining together in support, understanding, and community impact.

About The Roundtable

The group meets each 2nd Monday of the month, September through May. Each meeting features Outreach Service Organizations in the Charlotte Community. The purpose of The Roundtable is two-fold: Fellowship within our own community and Education to Outreach Possibilities within the broader Charlotte area where we as Christ’s followers might wish to become personally connected. Everyone is welcome!
