What happens when faith calls us out of the boat?

In Matthew’s Gospel, Peter steps onto the water toward Jesus, moving from the safety of what he knows into uncertainty. His story holds both courage and fear, trust and doubt, and reminds us that faith often asks us to move between the security of “in” and the risk of “out.”

This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Dr. Larry Hovis to the free pulpit for his sermon, “In and Out.” Larry serves as Executive Coordinator of CBF of North Carolina and has been a valued partner to Myers Park Covenant throughout our senior minister search.
