UNDIE SUNDAY is Coming!

Yes, you read that correctly. UNDIE SUNDAY is coming to Myers Park Covenant, and while it may sound a little unusual, it's all about meeting a very practical need for our friends at Pinewood Elementary School.

Through our MOJO partnership with Pinewood, we've learned that one of the school's ongoing needs is keeping the clothing closet stocked with new underwear for children. Having access to clean, properly fitting underwear may seem like a small thing, but it can make a world of difference for a child and their family.

That's where we come in. 

The next time you're shopping at Target, Walmart, or your favorite store, pick up a package of new underwear for boys or girls in sizes ranging from preschool through 5th grade including one-two sizes larger to help meet the needs of children of all shapes and sizes. Then bring your donation to the Heaton Hall Foyer anytime between now and Celebration Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Look for the collection container marked Pinewood Elementary and drop off your donation there.

Let's see how many pairs of undies we can gather before Celebration Sunday! This is a simple way for every member of our church family to participate, and every donation helps ensure that Pinewood's clothing closet is ready when students need it.
