Join Us at Charlotte Pride 2026!
Myers Park Covenant Church is proud to once again stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community during Charlotte Pride weekend, August 15–16! This is a powerful opportunity to live out our calling to be a community of radical welcome, affirmation, and love. We invite you to be a visible part of that witness by volunteering at our Pride Booth or marching with us in the Pride Parade.
Each year, Charlotte Pride brings together more than 200,000 people for one of the largest celebrations of diversity, inclusion, and community in the Southeast. What began in 2001 as a small festival has grown into Charlotte's largest annual parade and a weekend that welcomes thousands of visitors, families, friends, and allies from across the region.
As a church committed to creating a welcoming, loving, and just world, Myers Park Covenant Church is honored to once again participate in Charlotte Pride. Pride is more than an event—it's an opportunity to live out our faith by offering hospitality, celebrating God's beloved community, and sharing a visible message of hope, affirmation, and unconditional love.

Whether you've attended Pride for years or this will be your first experience, there is a place for you. We need to fill the slots at our booth for Saturday and Sunday, and we’re aiming for a strong Myers Park Covenant presence in the Pride Parade—we need as many walkers as possible! Volunteer at the Myers Park Covenant Church Booth
Throughout the weekend, we'll host a booth at the Charlotte Pride Festival in First Ward Park and the surrounding streets in Uptown Charlotte. Volunteers help greet festival guests, answer questions about our church, offer hospitality, and let people know there is a faith community where everyone is truly welcome.
March with Us in the Charlotte Pride Parade
On Saturday, August 15, we'll join thousands of marchers in Charlotte's largest annual parade along Tryon Street. Together we'll celebrate God's inclusive love while representing a church that believes everyone belongs.
Bring your family, invite your friends, wear your rainbow colors (or your Myers Park Covenant Church Pride shirt), and help us create a joyful, visible witness of welcome and justice.
The more people who walk together, the stronger our message becomes.
Why Your Presence Matters
Every conversation at our booth and every smiling face in the parade helps someone know they are seen, valued, and loved. For many who have experienced rejection from faith communities, seeing Myers Park Covenant Church at Pride can be the first step toward healing and belonging.
This is one of the most impactful ways we share who we are as a congregation—with compassion, authenticity, and love.
How to Get Involved
Whether you're new to Pride or have marched with us before, we’d love for you to join us. You can sign up to volunteer or march (or both!). Let’s show up boldly, joyfully, and faithfully. Together, we’ll share the good news of a church that welcomes everyone exactly as they are.
