The Roundtable invites you to join them in collecting both gently used and new books for pre-k through 5th graders. The MPBC Roundtable Group has collected new children’s books at Christmas time for many years.

This year The Roundtable is introducing us to Promising Pages, a Mecklenburg County non-profit that collects new and donated books to children through partnerships with 200 schools and child-serving organizations. Each child can build their own home library with the hope that the child will cultivate a lifelong love of reading.

All children need books in their homes in order to grow academically, but there are an estimated 60,000 children in the Charlotte area living in a book desert. - Promising Pages

Please remember that MPBC is open to all and closed to none – banned books are welcome!!

Collection Bins will be located throughout the church and Heaton Hall.
