Sunday Morning Schedule Survey coming to you the week of September 21!
You will receive a short email the week of September 21st that will include a Survey Monkey link! The Survey Monkey link will also be available in an article in The Weekly, which you will receive electronically on September 21st. Our current Sunday schedule is 10:00 am worship with adult faith formation classes and children’s programming at 11:15 am.
Many of you reached out to us over the summer about returning our worship time to 11:00 am, so the Board of Deacons determined the best approach was a congregational survey to determine if we keep or change this. There will be two questions:
- Keep worship at 10:00 am (with adult and children programming at 11:15 am). or
- Move worship to 11:00 am (with adult and children programming at 9:45 am).
If the majority of you vote to change the Sunday schedule, a change would be in effect September through July. Our long tradition of “summer schedule” with 10:00 am worship time has not been discussed, nor is it being questioned at this time.
The Survey Monkey link will be active for nine days, ending September 30th.
The Survey Monkey link can only be used ONCE by the same user.
You do not have to be a member of MPBC to be eligible to take the survey.
You cannot forward/share the Survey Monkey link; it will not work.
Now, the big question is when would this go into effect? We have lined up adult programming, including guests through November. We could start the Sunday after Thanksgiving, or we could start January 4th.
