Room In The Inn 2025-2026
Room in the Inn Returns This December!
December is nearly here, and with it comes the return of Room in the Inn (RITI) a cherished tradition where Charlotte-area churches open their doors to offer warmth, shelter, and hospitality to our unhoused neighbors. At Myers Park Baptist Church (MPBC), preparations are well underway, and we’re excited to share our plans for the upcoming season.
Thanks to a strong response to our volunteer survey, it’s clear that our congregation is committed to continuing our legacy of hosting RITI on Saturdays on our campus. This consistency reflects our community’s deep dedication to this ministry.
Hosting Schedule
RITI begins for MPBC on Saturday, December 6. Here’s how we’ll host each month:
- Weeks 1, 3, and 5: We’ll use the hospitality suite at Myers Park United Methodist Church, thanks to their generous partnership and radical hospitality.
- Weeks 2 and 4: We’ll host at MPBC and the Cornwell Center, following last year’s successful model.
Volunteer Sign-Up
To make this happen weekly from December through March, we need a strong team of volunteers! We’re using Sign-Up Genius again for a simple and streamlined sign-up process.
