COO Role Filled & New Staff Structure
Tripp Caldwell has been promoted to our Chief Operating Officer. He will continue to oversee the Cornwell Center and will take on the additional responsibilities of finances and business operations for The Church and Through the Week School.
Tripp has been praised for his role as Cornwell Center Director since 2019. He will keep these duties and will bring his strategic approach and keen eye for efficiency and effectiveness to this new role. He will provide stability and continuity as he has great relationships with our existing team already.
Judy Freeman (Finance Manager) will remain in her role with some additional responsibilities added. Laura Geer (Communications Director) will remain in her role and will also report to Tripp. Valarie Kovolski (Ministry and Operations Administrator) will remain in her role and will be supervising Lisa Caldwell.
After Barry Metzger stepped into the COO role in May, we have been working to re-imagine this role while strongly considering the functions and needs of our existing staff. We are grateful for Barry's contribution and the joy he brought to the staff wing! Barry will remain through most of January to ensure a smooth transition. We will provide a proper thank you opportunity!
