Love in Action
Roundtable - Researching and Responding to the Needs in Our Community

Date | Monday, March 9, 2026
Time | 10:00 am
Location | Church Parlor off of Heaton Hall Foyer
Guest | Hearts United for Good (HUG)

Join us for our March Roundtable gathering as we welcome Hearts United for Good (HUG), a Charlotte-based nonprofit whose mission beautifully echoes our own commitment to compassion, justice, and neighborly love.

HUG is dedicated to feeding families, supporting unhoused neighbors, and empowering underserved communities through hands-on programs and meaningful partnerships across the city. Their work ranges from food access initiatives and outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness, to community-driven efforts that uplift families facing economic challenges. At the heart of everything they do is a simple, powerful belief: every person deserves dignity, care, and connection.

This Roundtable conversation will introduce us to the inspiring ways HUG is making a difference every day—and explore how local organizations and faith communities can join together to strengthen the web of support for our neighbors.

Come enjoy a morning of learning, thoughtful dialogue, and community connection. All are welcome!

Whether you’ve been a part of The Roundtable for many years or this is your first time attending, you’ll find a warm and welcoming space where your presence matters and your voice is valued. Come ready for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and the opportunity to engage with an organization doing truly transformative work.

We look forward to seeing you there and joining together in support, understanding, and community impact.

About The Roundtable

The group meets each 2nd Monday of the month, September through May. Each meeting features Outreach Service Organizations in the Charlotte Community. The purpose of The Roundtable is two-fold: Fellowship within our own community and Education to Outreach Possibilities within the broader Charlotte area where we as Christ’s followers might wish to become personally connected. Everyone is welcome!
