Come early and have breakfast with us as we raise funds in support of our community partner, RAIN—and take the next step by signing up to walk with our team at the AIDS Walk on Saturday, May 30 from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Then join us in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. for a prelude of Easter music followed by worship at 10 a.m. as we rejoice in the resurrection and the promise of new life. Experience the triumphant sounds of children ringing Alleluia bells, the soaring music of Carolina Brass, organ, and choir, and an inspiring sermon from Rev. Dr. Layne Smith.
In his sermon, Layne will reflect on how if Easter is truly to happen, it must meet us where we live—in the very places where darkness and grief are real. We cannot arrive at Easter without first walking through the darkness of Good Friday. Only then can resurrection truly take hold.
