Starting Sunday, January 25 and meeting every other week, MOJO's Environmental Justice Group (EJ) will offer a 3-week Spiritual Growth class study of the book On the Swamp: Fighting for Indigenous Environmental Justice by Duke Professor Dr. Ryan Emanuel, led by Sofia Bartholomew. This powerful book blends scientific insight with storytelling and is the perfect follow-up to last year’s Braiding Sweetgrass study.
Following the book study, we’ll explore four new Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC) podcasts over at least four weeks (March 1, 8, 15, and 22), facilitated by EJ members. You can attend both parts or just one—no prior participation required.
