Kingdom of the Poor – A Book Study
When | Wednesdays, October 22, 29, and November 5
Time | 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where | Church Library
Leaders | Robin Buck, Cher Lindblom, Koren Cranford, Nancy Hudson
Join us on Wednesdays as we read "The Kingdom of the Poor: My Journey Home" by Charles Strobel — a moving memoir from a Nashville priest and tireless advocate for those experiencing homelessness.
This study will prepare our hearts and minds for our winter outreach initiative, Room In The Inn (RITI), inviting us to see every person as worthy of love and dignity. All are welcome to be part of this journey of compassion and community.
The Schedule
October 22 | We will discuss the book
October 29 | We will be joined by Joe Hamby, Roof Above's Director of Community Education
November 5 | This will be our final session for discussion of the book, and we'll discuss RITI volunteer information and sign-ups
NOTE | Registration is not required for this class, but if you’d like to stay in the loop, you can join our email list. We’d love to have you with us!
