Worship Guide

Worship we will be centered around our dedication to God's creation. Following the service, we will put our dedication into action by calling our national and state representatives and walking in support of creation justice.

CONGREGATIONAL CALLING EVENT
11:15 am - 12:15 pm | Shalom Hall

Immediately after the Creation Justice Service, join us in Shalom Hall and make sure to bring your fully charged cell phone. We will supply pizza and all names, phone numbers, sample scripts, etc. needed for calling our national and state representatives. Our purpose is to protest the destruction of God's creation.

WALK FOR CREATION
11:45 am - 12:15 pm

All of those who are able, will move from calling to walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, and your MPBC t-shirt if you like. At 11:45, we will walk the sidewalks from MPBC to the Harris Teeter at the corner of Queens Rd and Providence Rd. and back with climate and environmental-focused signs. The one-mile walk is timed to intersect with neighbors leaving nearby churches.  

The Children's Ministry will be helping decorate signs for the Walk for Creation in collaboration with the Environmental Justice group here at MPBC!
