More About the Event

Join ArtWalks CLT and artist Lo’Vonia Parks for a guided artwalk in South End on Friday, March 9 at 10:30 am. Experience firsthand how art enlivens public space, learn about street art and murals, try out SE Interactive augmented reality experiences and be inspired by hearing about the creative process from an artist. This one hour-and-15-minute artwalk begins at Atherton Mill. The walk will end at the Confetti Hearts mural.

Lo’Vonia Parks is a Charlotte-based artist known for her murals, drawings, caricatures, and jewelry design. She was a 2019 artist in the Brand the Moth META Residency Program and has murals in South End, Uptown and Historic West End. Parks was recently voted Queen City Nerve Best Visual Artist.
