Because Ash Wednesday falls on Valentine’s Day this year, we want to honor plans you may have made. Therefore, instead of an Ash Wednesday service, we will be offering an opportunity for people to drive by the church to receive their ashes. From 8:00 am - 9:00 am and from 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm, pastors will be on the brick patio in-between Heaton Hall and the Sanctuary to impose ashes. Please enter from Selwyn Avenue,

For those who would prefer to receive ashes in the Sanctuary, Rev. Carrie Veal and Kevin Gray will be there from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm to impose ashes. There will also be Communion and soft meditative music for those who would like to pray or meditate before or after the imposition of ashes.
