Charlotte’s largest street festival and parade returns to the streets of uptown as we join the celebration of 20+ years of Charlotte Pride and more than 40 years of Pride legacy in the Queen City. | Learn more
We are preparing for this popular annual event and have a few new items to elevate our presence in the parade. We have a giant - we mean seriously large - Pride flag and new MPBC Pride t-shirts for all participants to wear.
Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration! Let us know you will walk with us by clicking on the link below.
Be the Welcoming Face of MPBC at our festival booth!
We need your help to staff the booth. Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sunday. We will have battery-operated fans there and we will be located near food vendors, so this opportunity comes with perks! All you need to do is chat with festival goers, talk to them about MPBC, invite them to visit, answer any questions they may have, and give them some free swag. It's that easy and it's a fun and rewarding experience. Click on the button below to volunteer.
Make Sure You Are Ready for Charlotte PRIDE!
We have new MPBC Shirts this year!
We have white cool and dry sport performance tees this year to keep us more comfortable in the summer heat. The shirts have arrived! Order yours today!
Charlotte Pride Interfaith Service
Date | Sunday, August 11, 2024
Time | 4:00 - 5:30 pm
Location | Sacred Souls Community Church (2127 Eastway Drive)
All are invited to the annual Charlotte Pride Interfaith celebration on August 11, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Sacred Souls Community Church (2127 Eastway Drive) in Charlotte. It will last about an hour and will be followed by a dinner.
This service brings together the LGBTQIA+ community and different faith groups to reflect, celebrate, and build relations. Additionally, this celebration initiates Pride Week in Charlotte, culminating in the festival and parade the following weekend.
Each year, the service focuses on a theme, and this year’s theme is “The Intersection of Faith and Queerness.” Three speakers representing different faith groups will address this theme. The Sacred Souls Community Mass Choir will also provide music during the service.
