DETAILS
The 2nd Annual Confronting Whiteness Conference will take place on January 27-28th at Myers Park Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Join others on the anti-racist journey and hear from Black authors, thinkers, and theologians as we seek to understand our role in racial injustice and our part in dismantling it. The two-day conference will include speakers, breakout sessions, and a pop-up market featuring locally owned Black businesses, food trucks, and artisans. This year's speakers include Rev. Dr. Angela Parker, Dr. Ijeoma Ononuju, and keynote speaker Danté Stewart, author of Shoutin’ in the Fire: An American Epistle.
