Bible Basics
Leader | Rev. Carrie Veal
When | Sundays | 11:15 am - 12:15 pm
Where | Church Office Wing Conference Room and Zoom (Passcode: 1900)
The Bible is full of wisdom. And it’s confusing, has been used to push agendas, shape communities (for good or ill), and more. Our relationship with the Bible is as different as each of us are. And it has a lot to offer us when we engage our minds, hearts, souls, and each other. Over the course of the semester, we will use the Bible, and the book How the Bible Actually Works by theologian, Peter Enns. There is no need to purchase the book, but if you would like, here is the link to purchase it from Amazon. We will meet hybrid style. On campus we will gather in the Church Office Conference Room located near the kitchen off of the Heaton Hall Foyer. Or join us via Zoom. Be sure you are signed up in Realm so you don’t miss any updates that might come!
