FACILITATED BY BEN BOSWELL and CHRISSY WILLIAMSON: Join us for an experiment in virtual small groups! Beginning July 1, Chrissy and Ben will post weekly podcasts about the book, Liberation Theology for Armchair Theologians, written by our 2017 Jesus in the 21st Century Scholar, Dr. Miguel De La Torre. This book is an easy-to-read, relatively short, and yet really good introduction to Liberation Theology AND it’s an excellent introduction to Miguel who will be with us this October.
If you’re a theology nerd at heart… if you like the idea of a small group but can’t seem to make a meeting work with your schedule… if you’re looking for something to do this summer… if you like to read… OR if you just like listening to two nerds talk about theology… this could be the group for you!
When you join this group, you can expect weekly group emails alerting you to new podcasts with thought provoking questions intended to help you make connections between what you’re learning and your every day life. As a group participant, you’ll also be able to send thoughts and questions to Chrissy, Ben, and other group members related to the book and the podcast content. Who knows! Your questions and thoughts might just be the topic of one of the podcasts!
