Music & Worship Assistant
As Interim Minister of Music & Worship, Ms. Morrison manages a comprehensive program of music for preschool through adults. She collaborates with the Senior Minister to plan and execute the worship ministry and provides leadership and management to the Associate Director of Music and Organist.
Fran was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She was educated at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Bachelor of Music in Education), majoring in voice with a choral focus. She holds an Orff Schulwerk Level III certification, a Choristers Guild Institute Year 3 certification as Director of Young Singers in churches, ages K-8, and is a Music Together® licensed teacher.
Before joining the staff at MPBC, she worked with her husband, Gary, in his sales engineer business. Most of her career has been right here at MPBC, where she has served as Children’s Choir Coordinator, Associate Minister of Music, and Interim Minister of Music
When Fran isn’t at Church, she enjoys singing, reading, dancing, watching movies, and gardening.
